An anachronistic coming-of-age ritual still passed down in Y City in Y Prefecture. The ceremony required that a clan’s daughter offer her virginity to an elder relative. A daughter who had lost her virginity after moving to Tokyo was bound hand and foot and subjected to a purification for having broken the family’s rule. Given an aphrodisiac, she lost her sense of self, drooled, straddled her father, and was forced to keep thrusting her hips.
