Sakura's parents ran an inn, but after her mother died four years ago the business began to decline. A year ago her father also passed away, and the Tokyo apartment she lived in was seized by the bank, so Sakura took on the role of landlady to rebuild the hot-spring inn. Believing that ordinary operations wouldn't raise revenue, Sakura succeeded in increasing repeat customers by wearing a see-through yukata. And in order to obtain a loan from the bank, Sakura even resorted to pillow dealings with bank clerks.
