About this work

Under the motto “If you meet a girl this kind and with such a cute smile, you feel like you can try harder at studying or work!” we gathered girls who are young but have a mature, understated sensibility — simple, not especially fashionable, yet somehow refined and polite in their manner of speaking. They tend to prefer older things over chasing the latest trends. We focus on warmth, a handmade feel, and retro sensibilities in the girls, the imagery, and the music — please support us going forward! Started March 2020. The third installment of “Emo Girls.” Current second-year university student Mao Watanabe (20). This time we proposed a shoot out of a single-minded desire to glimpse Watanabe’s private sex life. The concept was: “Use a matching app and find, yourself, the partner for this shoot (the sex partner)!” (※The men who appear were of course contacted and agreed before filming.) Watanabe handles the matching app with practiced ease. Once an appointment is set, we start close coverage immediately. They meet at a subway ground-level exit, begin with a meal — a bite to eat before heading into the hotel. Watch while imagining: do modern university students live their casual sex lives like this…?
